Preamble
The Department of Educational Communication, Technology and Pedagogical Studies (DECTPS), University of Nairobi is organizing its 1st Annual Conference. The theme of the conference is “Transforming Pedagogy in a Dynamic Landscape Through Educational Research and Technological Innovation”. The organizers of the conference welcome you to submit Abstract/s or a Paper/s you intend to present in the conference.

Mentoring and post-graduate colloquium sessions Submission Format Electronic copies of abstract (not exceeding 250 words) with title, authors’ full contact details (names, email address, telephone contacts, and institutional affiliation) to be submitted to DECTPSResearch@uobi.ac.ke by 30th July, 2025. The abstract should be written in Microsoft Word format, Times New Roman, font size 12. Indicate thematic area (selected from any of the 7 (seven) provided.

Conference Proceedings: All papers presented at the conference will be published in the Book of Abstracts and Conference Proceedings.
Publications: Papers presented and submitted will be published in the University of Nairobi Journal of Pedagogy, Andragogy and Heutagogy in Academic Practice.
Certificates: Certificates will be emailed to both presenters and participants after the conference.
