CALL FOR SUBMISSION OF ABSTRACTS AND PAPERS
We are pleased to call attention to the 2025 Annual Development Finance Conference (ADFC) to be held on 23rd and 24th October, 2025. The conference brings together academics, policy makers, doctoral students and practitioners from around the world to present research, network, collaborate and engage in stimulating discussions that advance financial knowledge and research excellence. The 7th ADFC aims to provide a platform for the dissemination of cutting-edge research, innovative ideas, and novel approaches across all areas of finance. The program will include keynote addresses, research papers presented in concurrent sessions and panels with journal editors. The conference will be held in a hybrid format, combining in-person and online sessions.

SUBMISSION DETAILS:
The call for the submission of full papers, position papers or abstracts that include a title, keywords, authors’ names, affiliation and an email address for review is now open. Submit your full papers, position papers or abstract in English, on or before September 30, 2025 preferably in MS Word to: editoradfj@uonbi.ac.ke REVIEW PROCESS: Submissions will be reviewed and selected by the conference committee led by the conference convener. Based on accepted submissions, the convener will form an expert panel by including fellow acknowledged international researchers.

SUBMISSION TYPES
- Full Research Papers (8-12 pages): Completed research with theoretical foundation, methodology, findings, and conclusions.
- Practitioner Insights (6-8 pages): Evidence-based experiences from industry professionals addressing practical challenges and solutions.
- Post Graduate Colloquium Submissions (4-6 pages): Research proposals/Work in Progress from Post Graduate students seeking mentorship and guidance.
