Byron Anangwe

Byron ANANGWE is an individual passionate about developing solutions and applications in Geo-ICT (Geo-Information Communication Technologies) towards the sustainable development of Africa. He is a keen advocate of engaging with communities to increase social impacts of technologydriven initiatives.

Byron has more than 20 years of experience in application of Earth Observation & Geo-Information Sciences in Sub Sahara Africa (SSA). His areas of interest are in application, training and policy development in sectors Agriculture, Blue Economy, Climate Action, Energy, Environment, Economics, Land Management and Health with specific interests in Natural Resource Management (NRM).

Byron is an alumnus of Manchester Metropolitan University – UK and the Technical University of Kenya. He currently serves an advisor to government and private sector on matters relating to harnessing of the Space Economy for National Development as well as the Business Development Manager at Esri Eastern Africa (www.esriea.com)
